The disgusting vice of celebrity

Ok I know I'm late on commenting but inviting "stars" like Lindsey Lohan and Kim Kardashian to a White House dinner and asking who are they wearing is time wasted. Jimmy Kimmel was funny but that is because those people are already jokes..ick. I love to watch movies and shows but I wouldn't care if all the celebrities lined up single file to jump off the face of the earth. That would be entertaining. I hate the garbage, not only because what they do is useless, but then they lie about it to look better. I think that's why celebrities get into trouble. The line between fact and fiction becomes hazy, add drugs and alcohol makes it even hazier. I am always suspicious of biographies of wild younger days because if they actually lived them they wouldn't remember them. Talent smalent, the arts are created by anyone and everyone. I want everyone to be able to use their full potential but if something doesn't exist it will be created. African chants became slave hymns, blues and rock n roll. Celtic music became bluegrass and country. I think creativity is innate so the more we do,the more it flows. Work is  the same. The more you do the "easier" it becomes. I love watching how sausage is made. I love the breakdown of reality and why things become what they become. It is when someone stages scenes that I become nauseous. Reality is hard, messy, imperfect and beautiful.  Life is lived in the imperfections. I suppose it's because I have felt trapped in my own mind and body by illness and fear that I prefer the realness and texture of touch and sound. Celebrity is a heightened sense of pretending all the time, being judged all the time. Why would someone purposely subject themselves to that. There has to be a dysfunctional mindset to be that needful of affection and the desire to be called out for your faults. The constant  need to create panic and fear. Of course my mindset is so clearly the opposite, I have an extreme need to avoid and quell  the panic and fear of life. Every person I meet, every place I go is an anxiety filled arena.  I still create,  maybe minutely, maybe sporadically but I still have the capability. Celebrity is not success, massive of amounts of dead presidents are not success. We all end the race the same. The fact that the world is so big is a comfort. The weight of  the world is not on one person's shoulders to bear alone. We are not Atlas forced to hold up the sky. Eternal beauty is unnecessary , unattainable and pointless so to seek it is a massive waste of time. Celebrity is equated with beauty and kindness, it is so far from it.  The ultimate goal is to create, everything else is an ends to a mean.

Age and Immaturity..letting my mind wander

Jason Sudeikis of SNL is 36 (Sept. 1975), ?who knew?  He either makes me feel old or really immature, I haven't made up my mind yet. We, my husband and I watched A Good Old Fashioned Orgy and the average actor in that was 34. The women look great (which is implausible). Don Johnson was born the same year as my Dad (1949) and so it is TOTALLY plausible that he could play Jason Sudeikis' dad. He is hotter than Jason, which is just disturbing. Yes, I am just letting my mind out to wander and yes, it usually does work this way. I still liked the movie. It is a sweet movie in a twisted way.
